Lifeline Gippsland is a mental health and suicide prevention support network for people in regional Victoria.

With funding from the Gippsland Alcohol and Drug and Suicide Prevention Resources Project, they partnered with us to create an online resource to support individuals and families in crisis after recognising the need for improved access to mental health services in their community. Through a collaborative process, we developed the Gippsland Mental Health Support Directory, a user-friendly and accessible online platform giving regional Victorians access to trusted mental health resources.

After successfully launching the directory, we implemented an advertising campaign through Lifeline Gippsland to increase awareness and user engagement.

Utilising Google and Facebook, as well as printed flyers, we created a campaign to reach those in need, particularly in the aftermath of the pandemic. Ongoing user feedback and surveys have allowed us to continuously improve the directory and ensure it remains a valuable resource for the Gippsland community.

The directory now includes the contact details of over 70 mental health support and suicide prevention organisations, serving diverse community groups of all backgrounds and experiences.

The project has been a resounding success, with user data demonstrating easy site navigation and positive user experiences. Today, Lifeline Gippsland and its support directory continue to empower the community, connecting individuals and families with the help they need.
