BidHQ is led by a trio of founders with a passion for helping businesses win more work, more often. With deep expertise in the bid & tender writing space, they are eager to teach people how they can best manage all phases of the bid lifecycle.

BidHQ approached us with a vision to create a bid and tender response platform that could provide the tools and education to help business owners and bid managers write better bids. The team, who came with an extensive background of experience in contractor management and council/government tendering, recognised a gap in the market on how to actually help people produce better quality bids. With this vision in mind, we took on the challenge of bringing this project to life.

We started with an incredibly in-depth discovery session with the BidHQ team, scoping out the platform, digging into research, insights, user personas, and potential functionality, and conducting user interviews to get a broad sense of what they would need from the platform. From this information, we created a synthesis, recommendation and technical scoping document outlining everything we learned and a roadmap for how we could proceed.

Agreeing on the scope of the project, we began by working alongside our friends at Pink Tank to conceptualise the look and feel of the brand identity and workshop ideas for the brand namelanding on BidHQ! Following this, we started a number of projects concurrently, including the design phase of the app, building out the product and developing their marketing website.

We’ve been working hard in fortnightly sprints with the BidHQ team to bring this product to life and are set to launch in March 2022. In the meantime, we’re also partnering with BidHQ to plan the roll-out of their digital marketing strategy and socials.
